Cassandra Farrington is a seasoned B2B media and trade show executive, entrepreneur, and operations leader with a passion for building content, educational experiences, and information services that help professionals excel in their work. She is the co-founder of MJBizDaily, the leading business news resource for the cannabis industry, recognized for its trusted insights, analysis, and events.

Under her leadership, MJBizCon grew into the fastest-growing trade show in the U.S., as ranked by Trade Show Executive magazine. The company’s journalism has earned citations from NPR, Harvard Business Review, and Inc. Magazine, and it landed on the Inc. 5000 list five years in a row. In 2018, it was named the 9th fastest-growing woman-owned business by the Women Presidents Organization.

Earlier in her career, Cassandra led strategic initiatives in Citi’s North America Operations and Technology division and held key marketing roles at a B2B publisher and a specialist agency. She holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
