Daryl Taylor is the Senior Vice President of U.S. Commercial Aircraft Operations for Airbus. In this role, he oversees all U.S. commercial aircraft operations, including the U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Alabama - the site for the final assembly and delivery of A320 and A220 Family aircraft. His responsibilities also encompass Airbus Robotics in Seattle and the Airbus North America Procurement Team.

Daryl joined Airbus in 2015 to lead the ramp-up of the new A320 Final Assembly Line and ensure the assembly and delivery of on-time, on-quality, and on-cost aircraft to the North American market. Since that time, commercial aircraft manufacturing for Airbus in the U.S. has experienced continuous growth with the addition of an A220 assembly line in 2019, and a second A320 assembly line that opened in mid-2025.

Prior to joining Airbus, Daryl held significant leadership roles across the aerospace sector. He served as Vice President and General Manager at GKN Aerospace, managing machining and subassembly facilities, and as General Manager of the Q400 Program at Bombardier Aerospace. His previous experience also includes key directorial roles at Hawker Beechcraft
Corporation, including Director of Operations H4000 and Director of Six Sigma & Performance Excellence. Daryl began his career as a Certified Engineering Apprentice at Airbus in the UK. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from North East Wales Institute and a B.S. degree in Manufacturing Technology from Southwestern College, Kansas.
