As chief customer officer, David champions the voice of the customer across the organization, leading the teams responsible for driving innovative strategies that propel customer satisfaction and build brand loyalty. David additionally oversees global line stations, airport operations safety, strategy and performance, contact centers, the enterprise program management office and United Ground Express.
David brings over 25 years of experience at United to this position, including leading United’s worldwide airport operations teams. He has also worked in commercial roles in alliances, regional strategies, finance, pricing, flying partners and business development.
David holds a Master of Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona and a B.A. from Texas Tech University. His love of aviation extends to his personal life, as he has a private pilot license and enjoys flying. He is married with two children.
