Michele Flores is the Chief Logistics Officer and a member of SXSW’s Executive Leadership Team, overseeing Housing, Event Operations, Government Affairs, Planning, Production, and Registration. She joined SXSW in 2012, following a successful career at Direct Events, where she produced concerts and managed iconic Austin venues, including Antone’s, Austin Music Hall, The Backyard, and La Zona Rosa. A Chicago native raised in Austin, Michele attended the first SXSW in 1987. With over 30 years of experience in live events, she has helped shape Austin’s cultural and festival landscape.
